"Art and Australia" is Australias most glossy art magazine. Like any other established art magazines and art galleries in Australia this magazine is very limited, promoting only a number of Australian "born and bred" artist - assholes.

It is nearly impossible to break in to the Australian establishment of art. Most artist are standing in a kinda queue awaiting individual turns. Its a fucking terrible system farbeyond all questions about any kind of quality, other than " who do you know".
Not to mention all this university artist/teachers - the utmost untalented- who is sticking together like fools and occupying all this Regional Art Galleries. Damn fatheads!
Can you imagine science working under similar rules and conditions?
So go and paint your fucking gumtrees and "distinguised people" and kiss and lick the gallery owners including the National Art Galleries.
The system is corrupted and in a very similar way to what Sovjet Union demanded from the artists in Sovjet.
This shit "on demand" can not continue!

The media in Australia have a responsibility to review this attitude or Australias domestic art life shall get as bad reputation as the refugee issues have today. But the media journalists are just as corrupted as well...
The Art itself can never ever be feministic nor can science or politics be, and yet the Regional Art Galleries are mainly dominated by female directors which severly affect the acquisition of artworks and the policy for the art collection.
- like the e.g.Ned Kelly, Arthur Boyd family, Sidney Nolan, Dancing Matilda,
Patrick White, Joseph Bank, Phillip Adams or ALL the other, so called,
"distinguished" ABC-Broadcasters, cricket players,or war heros, and so on...
- to have a good life in Australia.
All this ICONS are NOT the REAL Australia!!
All this stuff and mythology is only maintained by a very small and clicky group of "pure" nationalistic "born and bred"aussies who gives a shit about the rest and the majority of the Australian population.
But if you need to make a PhD in a university they will force you to read and listen to all this limited bullshit.
All the news media is full of this boring "history" - a totally one eyed view.
Its a terrible obsolete journalistic activity.
Most of the broadcasters in the main media should be fired after a period of max. 3 year and give the media space to new people.
